03About
Built by coaches.
Run for athletes.
BlackList started in Portland with a simple idea: events that are hard, fair and well run, where first-timers and seasoned competitors both leave wanting to come back.
Every event is programmed, judged and run by people who coach for a living. Clear standards, on-time heats, and no surprises on the day.
04FAQ
Good questions
Who can compete?
Anyone 18+ who can safely complete the listed movements. Most events offer scaled divisions — check the event page for standards.
Is there a waiver?
Yes. Every athlete signs a liability waiver during registration. You won't be able to check in without it.
Can I get a refund or transfer my spot?
TODO: set your refund and transfer policy. A common approach is transfers allowed until two weeks out, no refunds after that.
Can friends and family watch?
Spectators are welcome. Parking, entry and schedule details go out by email the week of the event.
I want to sponsor or volunteer.
We'd love to hear from you — email us and tell us what you have in mind.
